Assume it’s a scam or something along those lines.

Sketchy AF, my friend.

I don’t think it’s a scam, per se, but it ain’t on the up-and-up, either.

It looks like it was written by the same people that write phishing emails.

English optional.

Unsolicited, I assume? Also, can’t spell “United” , no chance it isn’t a scam. Like half the new requests I get on LinkedIn these days are “make extra money working from home in your spare time” garbage.

Unsolicited . So it’s some kind of sketchy thing, how sketchy, I don’t know.

I don’t either but I do “like to employ”

Try it! Sounds like it could be a cool cult.
by that, i mean don’t try it. they might abduct you.

I have never received a halfway decent, or even legitimate, job offer completely unsolicited. Other than once, but it was from somebody I worked for previously and had stayed in touch with, so not totally out of the blue.

This sounds like exactly the ad that leads to a job doing door-to-door cold calls.

“if you like to employ,...”
Uh, many flags...

That's the best case scenario, if it is at all an actual job. I guess it could also be sitting at home calling everyone you've ever met in your life and trying to sell them stuff over the phone.

When the name is “Charlene” and the email is “Tom,” that’s a big red flag.
Nice incredibly vague job description. Definitely trying to gather contact information for questionable purposes.
“Maintaining the paper flow of work.” HA!

Enough weirdness that it is certainly a scam. Just unsure what the attack vector is...
